Description
A stick umbrella with a single piece of malacca cane running from the handle to the ferrule, steam-bent into a crook. Ten-rib steel frame, canopy in tightly woven polyester, 40 inch diameter open. Length 36 inches. Weight 1 lb 3 oz. Each cane is different, so the grain and colour will vary from the photo.
Made in England by a workshop that has built umbrellas the same way for decades. Hand opening only. Dry it open and store it rolled with the tie, not in its sleeve while damp. Rub a drop of oil into the cane once a year.
