Description
A trapper hat with a waxed cotton shell and a full shearling lining, sheep's wool left on the skin. The ear flaps fasten on top of the crown with a leather tie or drop to cover the ears and the back of the neck. Short peak, stiffened. Weight 7 oz. Warm to well below freezing when the flaps are down.
Sizes S through XL in inches around the head. Brush the shearling with a soft brush when it flattens. Sponge the shell with cold water only. Reproof the cotton once a year with wax dressing, keeping it off the fleece.
