Description
A cape cut from 8 oz waxed cotton, hemmed to fall just below the knee on a person 5 foot 10 inches. Five-button front, corduroy collar, two covered arm slits and a drawcord hood that folds into the collar. Cut wide enough to go over a rucksack or across handlebars. Weight 1 lb 9 oz. One size.
Made in England. Waxed cotton is not fully waterproof at the seams, but the fabric itself sheds hours of steady rain. Never machine wash. Sponge with cold water, hang to dry, and reproof with wax dressing once a year or when the surface looks dull.
